14 years of Filco
Still using my Filco Majestouch 2 too. I got it back in the day when Cherry switches were practically the only game in town. I remember being able to get an aftermarket chip in order to make the Filco reprogrammable and that was all the rage back then. Over the years, after multiple rounds of cleani

What keyboard and switches do you use for MapleStory?
Been on the same Filco Majestouch 2 with Browns for 10+ years, this thing is a tank.

Yeah, Filco and Leopold really defined that early mechanical keyboard era. This one’s likely from the final run of the original Majestouch before the v2 lineup took over. The plate’s even got a touch of rust on it — genuine patina from a classic 😎

Daily since 2014 and I still just love my Filco MT2 TKL (reds) w/ Vortex PBT double shot key caps (that have started to shine a bit now honestly). This keyboard cost me about $150~ in 2014 w/ the Vortex DBL shot keycaps.. have used it nearly everyday since.. still works perfectly love it still.
I just bought a Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja TKL for $50 on ebay. Cleaned it up and lubed the stabs (the spacebar was too rattly for my taste, and I don’t mind rattly keys lol). Absolutely enjoying it so far! Between this and the realforce r3s tkl I think I might be set for life!

Is the wooting 80he a worthwhile investment?
I used a filco majestouch for 15 years then got a 60he. Two years ago. I imagine i will use that into the foreseeable future. This is all to say I think OP could easily use that board for a long time to come without purchase regret.

[Request] Need reliable keyboard that will last
Filco Majestouch. Built like a Nokia 3310 had a baby with a tank. Mine survived a coffee tsunami, rage quits, and my cat using it as a bed. 7 years, still types like day one. Gaming response time? Faster than my reflexes will ever be.

I'm a long time mechanical keyboard user but have not kept in touch with the hobby ever since my initial purchases more than a decade ago. I've been using a few Filco Majestouches (mx blue, mx red, mx browns) which are probably about 15+ years old at this point. My MX reds have finally died, and my
