Most mechanical keyboards these days use QMK/VIA for remapping keys. There is some internal storage for macros and layers, but it's quite limited, and does not require drivers or software. Sounds like that's still not allowed, but wanted to let you know. Keychron K8 seems to meet your requirements,

I’m using a Filco majestouch convertible 2, tenkeyless version Its not that good tbh, you should try something like Wooting 60he or any key with customize key travel and make them as short as possible
