Your lost dog can now call home with the world's 1st satellite-connected dog collar
5 day battery life and its a clip on device. Collars, lights, tags, and other accessories get snagged all the time on dogs. Also, you cant track your dog without your cellphone having cellular service. So if you become separated from your dog in a TSAT only area, you cant track them. Its also an add

Fi collars + leashes?
if there's any chance your dog lunges or pulls suddenly, i'd avoid clipping the leash directly to the fi collar

Regular client asked me to cancel another booking for double pay
It’s the way the collar works for reliability. The F1 collar specifically, if you’re not connected to the homebase, the collar on the dog does not read the same information. For example, mapping and tracking routes. Most people with these collars are very dedicated to tracking, even when they are wa

Anyone else's fi collar pop off their dog?
I have two Fi collars on small dogs (one 18 lb, the other 15) and BOTH collars have broken apart where the Fi unit actually connects to the collar. Fi replaced my first one but I don't have faith in the product to put my dogs life on the line for it. Seems like a collar should be dependable enough s

Works to Find Escaped Dog; Walk and Run Tracking Basically Useless
Your setup is probably better but requires $35/year subscription to all trails + the interactive option which I’m not familiar with. The lost dog mode is a poor man’s substitute. That being said, I believe the difference between regular and lost dog is the sampling frequency. Like you, I regularly c

Dog ran away today. Do I want a Fi, or…?
I don’t think it would save or find my dog, TBH. She is very prey driven and willfull. She tries to cross a fairlt busy road on our regular walks when her nose tells her to… She yanked the leash out of my hand a year ago and ran a block after a bunny in my suburban neighborhood- I IMMEDIATELY bought
