In another thread about this there's a pinned comment stating they know they messed up and are correcting the issue. Is it worth to buy Gps Dog Collar or Leash?
My dog has had a FI collar for 5yrs.. and really we don't need it any more.. the only thing I really use it for at this point is tracking steps.. Recall training was really what gave me peace of mind. Once I could reliably call him back from out of sight I stopped really worrying about him being out

Works to Find Escaped Dog; Walk and Run Tracking Basically Useless
Your setup is probably better but requires $35/year subscription to all trails + the interactive option which I’m not familiar with. The lost dog mode is a poor man’s substitute.
