Thoughts on Lofree?

If you want a great first board with a similar color, I’d highly recommend the Epomaker Galaxy 100. It doesn’t have the same keycap profile, but they’re easily changeable. It’s a one and done board, if you want it to be, and has a sturdy aluminum case that stays put. Even after getting a few other k

Thoughts on Lofree?

lofree in my experience has been fairly overpriced. they're not necessarily bad per se, just really costly for the same quality you can get elsewhere. I personally have the lofree flow lite and it is a nice board, but if i bought it at retail price i wouldve been a bit upset. I've had similar noname

If you're considering the Epomaker Galaxy 100, go with the Lite version for the VIA and QMK. It's my daily driver with Sea Salt Silent switches and MOA profile keycaps, and it's great. You can easily turn off the RGB in VIA.

Can anyone identify this keyboard?

The Epomaker Galaxy 100 Lite is a much better value imho.

I love my Epomaker Galaxy 100 Lite with Wisteria switches. Comes in black and crème. Love it so much I bought one for home and one for work. Note, there’s a chance the one you get will have a flickering backlight. Just send it back and you’ll get a refund. Some people really don’t like epomaker, so

Do you want relatively quiet? Some keyboards can be super loud. If you want quiet and don’t want to mod yet, I’d go for one that comes stock with a silent switch. Varmilo Minilo, Aula f99 silent, epomaker galaxy 100 with the sea salt silent switch

The lowest cost aluminum mechanical keyboard with a numpad is the Galaxy100/Galaxy100 Lite, which is around $100 on Amazon. The 'best' are double or more: the Chilkey ND104 or Ticktype DP104 or QwertyKeys QK101/QK100/Neo98. If you want rapid trigger, etc. for gaming, it's actually cheaper to get a s

Keyboard for everything

I'd definitely recommend the EPOMAKER Galaxy100 for your needs, if you are okay with its layout! After switching to one, I've been raving about it and recommending it to almost anyone who wants a 96-100% mechanical keyboard!

Oh I looove Aula! They’re heavily foamed so sound a bit more muted and thocky imo. They’re also a great base to mod! I have two f75s and an f99. But they are plastic so if you’re looking for an aluminum keeb go with the epomaker galaxy 100!

Another vote for the Epomaker Galaxy 100 or 100 Lite. I have the standard 100 as my daily home office board, and I adore the look and feel; especially once I swapped the keycaps. Mine has non RGB-friendly switches in it at the moment, so you can’t really see the lights even with them on.
