I just got the Epomaker G84 HE and I have the Aula x Epomaker F75, which cost me less than $110 for both, and they sound and look better than many $100+ keebs on the market. I can’t get enough of them lately.

I did a little research on your recommendations and I really like the Epomaker G84 HE. The latency is really good and I love the sound of it. My only concern is the build quality as you said, although it seems better than others in the price range. Speaking of price range, it comes out to about $120

Yunzii B75 Pro. I have the purple version and its fantastic. Both the milk and cocoa cream switches are nice. Yunzii B87 Epomaker G84. It comes in pink, but its more a hot pink color. I added this one because I have it in white and its one of the most impressive budget keyboards I own.

There's plenty more, you can try WS Flux Switch Deep Clacky, MMD C1 or URStudio Ice switch. But if you want even better sound, then you'll find that the 80HE is behind newer boards like the VGN Neon HE, Epomaker G84 HE, hex80 or the Everglide SU75. It's a never-ending rabbit hole.
