I love my crappy printer, but I'd never recommend it to anyone ðŸ˜
The real jerk is people still pretending Experimental Sugar Canes are somehow any more special and reliable, despite their sub being 90% troubleshooting. It's not either or, literally just buy a Qidi or the Elegoo CC to get the same thing for half the money, you don't have to tinker with jack shit.

Best printer for big prints?
Hey u/GeneralPack4401 , check out the Elegoo Neptune product line. The Neptune 4 Plus and Neptune 4 Max will have more build volume than any of the Bambu products and like yourself, I started back in the day with early Makerbots. The Elegoo products are very budget friendly however they will require

3D printer recommendations?
A lot of people recommend the ender and I've only had unending issues with it. This is coming from someone who is not new to printers. I think Creality has loosened quality control on the budget line and there's better beginner options with more up to date quality of life features if you are willing

How has everyone's experience been with the cc2?
Cons: - Small build volume - If they made a CC2 Max or Plus size, I would 100% get that as well. This build volume is perfect for small projects which is why I purchased mine. I don't expect to make large objects or cut and piece things together rather all print jobs that I send to this printer are

Which one do you think I should aim for ?
Hey u/Sorry-Elk-443 . Tenured / Experienced Elegoo owner here - I started fresh about 4 years ago and dived into the world of 3d printing. Since my start I own an Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus, Neptune 4 Max, and the Centauri Carbon 2. If I were starting brand new again, I highly recommend the CC1 or a Nept

New to 3d printing and shopping around
Despite what others may say, the Elegoo brand was made as a functional and affordable brand to get you a product that isn't overly expensive but it also isn't made to be a "Premium" printer. Parts wear out, maintenance is required, and the manufacturer stands by their products in many times even pas

Best 3d printer for making props
I have an elegoo neptune 4 plus. It's a larger size and pretty cheap. Not plug and play like a bambu would be. There is some assembly and calibrating before you're ready to go. It can be a bit frustrating. With that said, mine has over 2500 hours on it. I've printed 2 life size droids and am current

3d printer for beginner
Hey u/JustxTired Overview: Going to go against the grain and state I'm team Elegoo. There are two primary kinds of FDM Printers, Core XY and what the community commonly refer to as "Bed Slingers". While the bed slinging technology has been around for a long time, the more modern (and more expensive)

Help with printer decision
Hey u/thepartyfoulchicago , Veteran Neptune 4 Max Owner and recent owner of the Centauri Carbon 2 with experience on the CC1, They're both fantastic printers. The possibilities are endless for both machines but in my opinion its a steeper learning curve for the 4 Max since you need to do one extra s
