Cost of 3D printed terrain

So... it depends. I have printed an entire 35gal "tote" box worth of terrain for approximately $30. Three rolls of fillament. Depending on the quality of your printer, and the quality settings, a three tier, large "corner" ruin will take between 12-24 hours all-together (based on my Neptune 4 Max -

Best printer for big prints?

Hey u/GeneralPack4401 , check out the Elegoo Neptune product line. The Neptune 4 Plus and Neptune 4 Max will have more build volume than any of the Bambu products and like yourself, I started back in the day with early Makerbots. The Elegoo products are very budget friendly however they will require

CC1 CANVAS upgrade- OpenCentauri documentation

I will say cc1 is a great machine and very much will say I use mine quite a bit even though just single color. I will also say even though very late to delivering this promise they are appearing to finally come through. Seeing what is all now needing to be done to get the cc1 multicolor capable one

Elegoo Centuari Carbon or Elegoo Neptune 4 Max

I had my Neptune 4 Plus for around a year before getting a Centauri Carbon. I've found the CC to have much better quality. Occasionally I'll run on my N4+ but usually for testing things I'm designing so that they are generally useful and don't need the extra precision of the CC. Orca Slicer is also

Elegoo Neptune 4 Max with CoPrint Multicolor upgrade

The advice about OpenNeptune is spot on. If you're going for the Max, definitely prepare for a learning curve with the multicolor kit. It’s a great machine for the volume, but keeping the bed leveled for long multicolor prints is the real challenge. Good luck with the build!

I finished 3d printing my chest rig!

I have a few different 3-D printers. My favorite of the ones I own is the Qidi Tech X-Max 3. The Creality K2 Plus is runner up. For large stuff like full chest armor get something like an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max(My EN4Max’s are not my best printers but they are my workhorses). The first two are better

Z Axis Wobbling

Absolutely, it helps me refreshen up from time to time as well! I would like to think that with a fine tuned profile, the Neptune 4 Max should theoretically be able to do be close to the A1 Mini but because of how large the bed is, I almost wouldn't recommend matching a smaller bed slinger because t

Finished my Sauron helmet

I'm using a Neptune 4 Max. It's nice for the large build volume, since I'm typically printing pretty sizable things. Honestly, I haven't been in the market for a printer for a while, if you wanted a better answer the 3d printing sub would probably know more. This one has worked well for me, though.
