CANVAS for Centauri Carbon available now
I know people are probably still going to find things to hate about the whole multicolor situation with the CC and how it took longer than expected, but you can't deny that Elegoo kept their promise and that $55 is way lower than any of us were expecting to pay for it. Excited to have mine pre-order

What's the advantage of resin printing over FDM?
I have both. Resin has better resolution and for my stuff, prints much faster than filament. One model took 36 hours on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon and 10 hours on a Saturn Ultra 4. I also find resin a lot simpler to maintain. WIth filament it seems I'm always fixing extruder jams and have to watch th

I Can't Tell if this Printer is All Hype!
The only brand you've mentioned that I have first-hand experience with is Prusa, but I have gathered the following from YouTubers I trust and Reddit posts I don't suspect as marketing bots. Bambu printers are good. The hardware is solid. I don't care for Bambu as a company, for similar reasons to wh

3D Printer manufacturer Flashforge openly threatens to report their customers to authorities for printing weapon components
I've been enjoying my Elegoo Centauri Carbon. Calibrating the slicer for the filaments and nozzles is tedious (but not hard), but you have to do it for every printer that doesn't have exquisite presets just dialed dead nuts in. There is a successor coming out that has a filament switcher. I don't re

Elegoo centauri Carbon 2
I just did my first print on it last night with PETG, a b/w hueforge image. Turned out AMAZING. I have had no real deal breaking issues myself. The only thing I can say is that there is a known bug in the current firmware for binding/connecting it to wifi for remote viewing and control in both web a

ASA?
Seeing the rest of the post, I agree with the other comment that you are asking for the Multi Material Unit. There is a post that someone was able to load a bit of custom firmware and use a self built MMU in place of the elegoo one, but it does require quite a bit if work. Also, when elegoo released

Whats the best enclosed 3d printer for beginners
If you are already looking at Bambu, most of their enclosed printers are beginner friendly - maybe with an exception for the H2 series of industrial printers. If you don't want to use the Bambu printers, then I'd go with the Elegoo Centauri Carbon (either version) as they're beginner friendly and si

[#ElegooIFA25] [Day 1 Recap]
Centauri Carbon received multiple recognitions, including Best of IFA Awards As it was normal. Congratulations to ELEGOO, you really nailed it with the CC but if that multi filament gets more delays or ends up a failure, you're throwing all that gain out the window. There's plenty of us here rooting

State of Bambulab, still the No. 1?
TL:DR - if you already have a core x/y enclosed printer with bed levelling and input shaping there is almost no compelling reason to replace it with a similarly featured Bambu unless there is something specific that you can only get from Bambu I have been printing since 2013 when I built my first pr
