Best way to remotely manage Elegoo Centauri Carbon (beyond the official app)?
Hey, I'm the dev behind OctoEverywhere! All of the comments here are right, but I wanted to summarize them. There are two ways of installing OctoEverywhere: Use a Raspberry Pi computer Use Docker on any Windows, Mac, or Linux pc. Both methods enable all features, including free, unlimited remote acc

Is it supposed to be this loud?
There is a great mod on printables that turns the blower fan around so that the noise and air stay in the machine. It’s really easy to assemble and install. The machine gets a lot quieter. https://www.printables.com/model/1452398-elegoo-centauri-carbon-air-recirculation-mod

Klipper, PID and Input shaping
Klipper = An Advanced Operating System that is mostly used on modern 3d Printers. It allows you to run commands and remotely manage your printer if it is networked and your managing device is also on the same network such as a smart phone or computer. PID = Proportional Integral Derivitive, a comple

Elegoo centauri Carbon 2
I just did my first print on it last night with PETG, a b/w hueforge image. Turned out AMAZING. I have had no real deal breaking issues myself. The only thing I can say is that there is a known bug in the current firmware for binding/connecting it to wifi for remote viewing and control in both web a

Whats the best enclosed 3d printer for beginners
If you are already looking at Bambu, most of their enclosed printers are beginner friendly - maybe with an exception for the H2 series of industrial printers. If you don't want to use the Bambu printers, then I'd go with the Elegoo Centauri Carbon (either version) as they're beginner friendly and si

CC1 User Asking, Is The CC2 Worth Buying?
Hey there u/Outrageous_Cut2782 I've been doing printing quite a long time and have seen some really bad printers back in the day (looking at you early Makerbots) and seen how far they've come along lately. I never owned the CC1 but I do own the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 and have been using it for a l

Is this 3d printer good
Yes. It’s actually the most beginner friendly printer ever. It is limited in terms of the functionality (type of filaments, speed) but it prints absolutely beautiful right out of the box, holds a resale value incredibly well and is the most user-friendly printer that ever existed. There is hate/love

What is the best cheap starter printer?
Define “cheap”. BTW- A1 is $339 for a bed slinger with no enclosure. Elegoo Centauri Carbon is $299 for an enclosed core XY. Don’t just focus on BambuLab, there are other printers that are virtually plug and play.

my printer won't print right and my mom says she's going to return it if i can't figure it out please help!!!!
I’m not too concerned with the fumes since it’s mostly contained when the cover is on. I’m concerned about how to properly handle it. You can’t just clean this stuff in a sink and be okay with it. It’ll clog your pipes and it’s terrible for the environment. If you accidentally spill the bottle you’v

Should i get?
I've had nothing but great experiences with Elegoo, their support team, and their products so my vote is on the CC. It's a zippy printer that you can get off the ground and running very quick and it has a great assortment of different materials it can work with out the gate. At a more economical cos
