Centauri Carbon 2 – Small cracks on base

Welp you are the 8th owner with a failed deck panel I have heard of. there are probably way more. more detail here and also in the elegoo discord https://www.reddit.com/r/elegoo/comments/1rtcrnd/centauri_carbon_2_arrived_from_amazon_with_cracks/https://www.reddit.com/r/elegoo/comments/1r5lhdm/interesting_cr

Maybe I'm crazy but the CC2 thing seems like it's fine?

You need a new toolhead board because the 1.1.42 firmware that included the code for this AMS system that was decompiled referenced a toolhead filament detector that does not have pins broken out on the toolhead board that is in the CC1 I mentioned this in the comments of the cable fire hazard post

Get the CC are now wait for CC2?

@Op I would recommend holding off buying the Centauri Carbon in general until you see how Elegoo handles the treatment of its mass of consumers who’ve purchased the CC version 1 (shitty single cabin light and camera) and version 2 owners (dual cabin light and kinda better camera, recent buyers). Whe

CC1 Canvas first impressions, a few things I wished/wanted to know beforehand

Oh, also for switching to non canvas use you can print the adapter Elegoo put out to switch more quickly. If you want to use bare PTFE collets theirs has some problem so I did a remix to fix it https://www.reddit.com/r/ElegooCentauriCarbon/comments/1tdqzk8/remixed_the_elegoo_flexible_filament_adapter_for/

Centauri Carbon Bed Mesh Visualizer

nope thats pretty typical for the CC elegoo tells you to crank the screws because they don't want people going though the very tedious process of tramming there bed because there firmware has no inbuilt routine to-do it quickly and it would look really bad for them if they bothered to implement the

News for the Centauri Carbon 1 MMU system This is the response customer support gave me today:

Hmm. So they never actually worked on the CC1 MMU, until after the CC2 was released with Multi Color. And people complained and called them out on there BS. I wonder if the CC3 will Be out before or after CC1 gets multi color, if it does. The CC1 is a nice little machine, but the lies and BS from el

No multi color, here’s a coupon instead

LMAO! A coupon only valid for 3 months AND you have to buy at least $100. 1 year warranty extension not including hardware replacement. Or $80 coupon for the CC2 for people that have the CC1 which is not even a year old! These guys are something else. This will be my last product from Elegoo. While

Wife just broke out the "couldn't you have just bought a printer for the money you've spent in parts". I may not have much longer here

2016 Kia Soul driver, here. I'm also the Field Marketing Rep for a major cannabis brand here in California, with everything South of Long Beach as my territory, so you could also possibly say I'm a professional driver, too... I log a TON of miles, usually around $1500-1800 a month in reimbursement.

How long till Elegoo release a multi head printer? I am backing as soon as they recover from the CC1 Canvas Issue

Things have changed now that the system has actually released and people should move on for the most part. However I do still think it has some bearing on whether you buy a toolchanger printer from them. For example we know elegoo: Did not realize that a filament detector would be required for accep
