@Op I would recommend holding off buying the Centauri Carbon in general until you see how Elegoo handles the treatment of its mass of consumers who’ve purchased the CC version 1 (shitty single cabin light and camera) and version 2 owners (dual cabin light and kinda better camera, recent buyers). Whe

I send this email [UPDATE] Dear Elegoo Europe team, I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction and serious concern regarding the Elegoo Centauri Carbon printer I purchased during the pre-sale period in February 2025 (Order #EE34). At the time of purchase, the printer was explicitly advertised

The only brand you've mentioned that I have first-hand experience with is Prusa, but I have gathered the following from YouTubers I trust and Reddit posts I don't suspect as marketing bots. Bambu printers are good. The hardware is solid. I don't care for Bambu as a company, for similar reasons to wh

I always recommend the same two printers for all beginners because they’re just great starting points without spending a lot of money ($300-400 USD range). They are easy to use and learn, have all the features/specs you need, and are just quality/reliable machines. For just basic single color printi

I would not buy any of them, paying >300$ in 2026 for an outdated not enclosed bedslinger while 100$ more gets you a fully enclosed coreXY which can print technically material up to 350⁰C is not a good idea. Compare your selection with this printer: https://de.elegoo.com/products/centauri-carbon-2-c

If Elegoo offered all current Centauri Carbon v1 owners a free swap to Centauri Carbon 2 that would go a long way IMO. I don’t believe Elegoo would do that though

Seeing the rest of the post, I agree with the other comment that you are asking for the Multi Material Unit. There is a post that someone was able to load a bit of custom firmware and use a self built MMU in place of the elegoo one, but it does require quite a bit if work. Also, when elegoo released
