EV now has a 12" version of the Everse (Everse 12). A solid musical unit. I have five and love them. This company calls them used or open box but it's NIB. PA Setup - What can I use?
What do you like about the S1? Personally I prefer the Everse series because of their output. Battery powered speakers. I've used a large amount of them through the years. In order to get a professional quality solution you are not going to come in under 1000. A reliable professional wireless system
