Grandpa Needs New Network

I picked up an eero Pro 6E on eBay on the cheap and set it up at my grandma’s house. It’s been running flawlessly for over a year with zero issues. It’s perfect for me because it just works without needing constant attention (I’m her IT support), and it’s perfect for her because she simply wants rel

Thoughts on TV + Internet?

I bought my own eeros. I bought a 3-pack of the 6E Pros. One on main floor, one upstairs where bedrooms are and one in the basement. I took the eero 6 given to me and use it in the backyard in my poolhouse. My wifi is strong everywhere, no dead spots or dropped wifi. I like the eeros. They are like

G5AR and Eero Max 7 Setup

Download the Hint app on your phone from the app store, log into your router with it and you can turn off the G5Ar wifi radios. I have mine hooked up to an Eero 6E pro and it's working beautifully!

WIFI 7 Hub VS ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 (2000 gbps)

I would suggest an Eero Pro 6E, if the mesh is going via each device I would set them up: Eero Pro 6E - Eero Pro 6E - Eero 7 If the main Eero Pro 6e is central it won't matter, but you don't want the mesh to go Eero Pro 6E - Eero 7 - Eero Pro 6E

Best cheap mesh for a fairly large house without easy option to run wires?

Look at Eero on amazon, I recommend the Eero pro 6e or 7. Easy set up with their app, if your a prime member you can link your account so items you buy (fire stick, echos, etc..) basically pre configured and are plug and play at that point. You can find 3 packs on sale. I work for an isp and we use

Good deal?

Definitely recommend this, you can grab plenty of models in that budget. A few manufacturers / models id recommend: Ubiquiti - Cloud gateway ultra plus mix and match aps for your needs, or dream router 7 / express 7 would be great here. Can be intimidating, but works well and has an entire ecosystem

Eero question - tmobile owned and personally owned

I've got one eero pro 6E from MetroNet/T-Mobile and one I bought to supplement it. It works just fine. The gateway will try to autoconfigure and in my case, it hooked up to my personal eero via Wi-Fi 6 even though I had it hard wired over Ethernet. This double connection caused a switch loop and kil

Best Router

Eero's work ok (if you want a mesh that just works good) YouFibre gave me Eero 6+, but I've upgraded to Eero Pro 6e

Extend Eero Pro 6E to garage

nice setup with the wired backhaul to the garage - that's the best way to do it. adding another eero pro 6e is actually straightforward. run your cat6 from the switch to the garage, then plug the new eero into that cable (using its WAN port). in the eero app, go to add device and it should detect th

Best router/mesh setup with YouFibre? (2-floor house, WiFi weak upstairs)

I have Eero. YouFibre supplied them so they are compatible, plug them straight into the ONT and they work. Unlike a normal router that you plug it in and use its Wi-Fi network with its password, you need to have them connected to the Internet and set them up in the Eero app. I would suggest plugging
