I am looking for my first real record player
You could start buy looking at this Thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/turntables/comments/1mwzrs0/comment/na3ar2t/?context=3 Recommended Turntable and Edifier Speakers. I would recommend that you get the Edifier R1280DB because they have Digital (optical+Coaxial) inputs, Bluetooth, Two Pair of RCA I

Need help with turntable advice in europe
I'll probably use edifier R1280T as speakers. The bare minimum R1280T are often paired with the bare minimum AT-LP60X. For a 300 euro turntable budget ideally spend twice as much on speakers or at least just as much or buy used for around the cost of the turntable that originally cost twice as much.

Technical help, need explanation for stuff that matches my turntable?
If you are going to get Edifier R1280 then skip the basic T version and get the DBs version R1280DBs that add useful features such as Bluetooth input, subwoofer output and digital optical input.

Active speakers with auto standby
Generally probably better than the Edifier R1280 series products, would be their “studio monitor” Edifier MR3 (EAC review, EAC YT review). But unfortunately there’s only analog inputs, and no auto on/off or standby. (And obviously the Bluetooth connection isn’t high quality, as they almost never are

Finally upgraded my desk speakers — here’s why the Edifier R1280T blew me away (and might for you too)
So I finally retired my crackly old desktop speakers and took a leap on the Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers. Honestly, I didn’t expect much for the price… but wow, the difference was immediate.
🎵 The sound:
- Clear mids and highs — I caught details in songs I’d never noticed before.
- Surpri

RT80 vs RT81 for a first table. Would I notice the difference?
Yes, well worth the extra $100 since it's a $150 to $200 value better turntable. If you are going to start with the bare minimum small 4" Edifiers for a small room and upgrade to good speakers similar in quality to the Fluance turntable later then start with at least the R1280DBs version that add us

Should I get a pre-amp or an amp?
$22 phono preamp is all you need for the Edifier R1280 powered speakers. Save up for a good pair of speakers and a Yamaha 501 or 701 that have more power than the 301. Check here for sales https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/category/integratedamp/home-audio/receivers-amps/integrated-amps/

Brand new to all things stereo… advice appreciated!
The LP60XBT is a decent starter, but it's just that. There's nothing upgradeable down the line. I used to have one, it's super easy to set-up. With that budget, you'll have to look at powered speakers. Edifiers R1280 (with or wihout bluetooth) or R1700 are probably your best bet. With that budget, y

Problem with passive speaker on Edifier R1280T
Hi!
I seem to have an odd problem and am not too familiar with speakers or audio technology in general. I recently bought the Edifier R1280T speakers for my desktop PC. Everything was working without any problems and the audio was great. But yesterday my left speaker (the passive speaker) suddenly
