What amplifier with a RT82 and Edifier R1280DB ?

Turntable: USA and Canada Fluance are not worth the cost of importing or buying grey market in Europe. Better Project Debut Carbon E https://www.amazon.fr/-/en/dp/B0DKY2VL14 Or lower cost Pro-Ject Debut RecordMaster II €298 on sale from €449 with a built in phono preamp. Or get an AT-LPW50, AT-LP5X

Buying my first budget turntable

A LP60X and a pair of Edifiers is the default beginners combo nowadays, so no issue there if that's all you can afford. And apparently MR4 are better then 1280DB.

Fluance RT 85 Opinions for a new purchaser of this table!

I’ve got the edified r1280db ATLP60 + Edifier R1280DB. If you are looking for better sound then it's the small basic low cost entry level Edifiers that are the sound quality bottleneck so upgrade the speakers first for the most improvement. The turntable is not the bottleneck and the turntable will

First turntable

People are gonna grill me, but I don’t care. It’s insane to use a Nagaoka cartridge and have that signal being played through those Edifier speakers. I personally don’t think your turntable should be considerably more expensive than your speakers when buying new as quick rule of thumb. Why not go fo

What amplifier with a RT82 and Edifier R1280DB ?

It's not a preamp you need, it's a phono stage, there are so many people (including some manufacturers like Fosi audio) who wrongly use this term, then users who have bought the wrong device come on here asking why their sound is so low.. Phono Stage: used between a Turntable and a pre-amplifier/int

Pls need Help confirm my set up…could this work?

Pass on the basic Edifier R1280DB that are often paired with the basic AT-LP60X turntable. Ideally spend twice as much on speakers and amplification as on the turntable. For the best value buy used passive speakers and a used integrated amp or stereo receiver and a good number of them have a Phono i

Is this AT-LP70X / Edifier R1280DB package good for someone just starting out?

Not much more expensive! OP listed a $419 setup. Fluance RT82 $299 plus $22 starter phono preamp is similar to or a bit better than the one inside the RT81 plus better larger Dayton Classic $119 powered speakers = $440 so only $21 more for a better turntable and better speakers than the AT-LP70X or

Newbie needs advice

The common go-to on a budget is Edifier desktop PC speakers. These re powered, so you have amplification built into one of the speakers. They're cheaper than a new amp and passive speakers, so it's easy to see the appeal. Edifier R1280db or R1280T are both under £130, but there's no getting away fro

Roast my setup.

The speakers are just some cheap Edifier 1280db's and an Edifier T5 sub. Nothing special they are just to the left on the sides of the tv. And yeah it was pretty bright when I took the picture I should have adjusted.

Is Any1 using the Edifier Studio R1280DB Speakers?

130 € ?? I can"t be good for the money. If you want quality speakers to listen to music, you need passive ones that give you HI-FI. The product name "Edifier R1280DB" remains the same as it is a model number. The specifications are translated/described as follows: 2.0 = 2.0 (meaning a standard stere
