is wooting 80he really worth it for gaming? (cs2)
Better for CS2? I’d say so compared to standard mechanical keyboard/linear/whatever your preferred switches are. Custom actuation points are huge, my movement was terribad until I got used to it. Quick response is evident when switching back to my DROP ALT/KBDFans 65% keyboards. I’d love to go to th

Spilled small amount of beer in my KB and now the number keys are registering as commands. 8 is expanding and minimizing windows. Esc just gets me apostraphes. I took it apart last night and cleaned the board with 70% isopropyl and Q Tips and nothing. Is it time to get something new? I was thinking

RIP DROP
My first real keyboard was the drop ALT I got like 8 years ago, I used that with panda switches for a long time. Then I got a zoo65 kit from drop a few years ago. I still use this keyboard at work with oil kings. I also have gotten HD 6xx x2, HD 58x, Dan Clark Aeon Open X, Dan Clark Aeon Closed X, e

Which keyboard do you use for coding?
That middle, the 65% form factor, has been the sweet spot for me. I’ve had a Drop Alt v1 for years now, using TTC silent bluish whites. The drop is discontinued, but I’d make a few recommendations: - get something hotswappable. Most every nice keyboard is these days, so that’s not hard.- go heavy. L

Keyboard recently broke kinda, need a worthy hall effect replacement
Check out the Keychron K8 or the ducky One 2 Mini. They should work for what you need, and they have RGB... If you like hall effect switches, give the Drop ALT a try too. For more comparisons and stuff, hit up keyboardyeti. They have good info on picking a keyboard.

looking for a keyboard ~$200
Check out the keychron K8 or the Ducky One 3. They’re both good picks in your price range and have what you need,75% layout, nice switches, and some have a knob. If you’re after hall effect switches, look at the Drop ALT or something from Akko... Also, keyboardyeti has a bunch of comparisons and gui

60% Quiet Gaming Keyboard for Bedroom
Any of the keyboards mentioned by FrostyDMS would work well. Consider spending a few bucks on some good silent switches to replace the stock ones. Lubed silent fox switches from GMMK are fantastic for gaming. Very light and super quiet, especially if you put o rings on your keycaps. I have this exac

I have a Drop Alt keyboard and replaced all the switches with Boba U4 Silent since I wanted Cherry Brown feedback but silence. I totally regret getting the U4's as about half of them are starting to exhibit phantom double presses or not even registering and a cursory online search shows that this is

Please Suggest a Keyboard for 100% Gaming ~$100
i’ve heard some people complain about double presses with Bananas, but that’s probably the biggest complaint. i’m a bigger fan of linear switches so that’s what i’ll usually go for since the actuation happens faster and smoother. i love Silent Alpacas and have them on the Aula and my Drop ALT board.

https://drop.com/buy/drop-alt-mechanical-keyboard per the drop alt product page, its their own configuration page, that you have to download and flash (NOT VIA). Maybe theres a youtube tutorial on it somewhere for configuration I'd say if the configuration looks easy or you are fine with the default
