Yeah my normal Drop Alt lasted about that long before the PCB started creating double-taps everywhere. Could never get a replacement PCB for it. Is a shame, because I have the Laser version which is an awesome colour, paired super well with Milkshake caps IMO

Its chipset is no longer supported by QMK, so I would say it is outdated. But if it is just the switches, they are easy enough to replace (the Drop ALT v1 is hot swappable). I unplug mine from usb port of the pc and it comes back. My Drop Alt HP does this too when I have all my USB ports full like I do right now. I need to upgrade my PC to AM5 but I’m not supporting these RAM prices.

My Drop Alt just randomly won’t power on anymore and is not recognized by my computer. What I’ve tried. Different cable and USB Port Taking off all keycaps and switches Pressing the physical reset button Anything else I can try? It’s the last week of the semester :’(
