I built this keyboard for my wife's first husband

Yea I stuck SA godspeed on a drop alt in 2019 and daily drove it for 6 years Finally got the itch recently for a change, tried a TKL and a 70 with the fn row but 65% is just the sweet spot for me

My home keyboard, drop alt v2

I love my drop alt - I've tried other things but it remains my perfect layout, if only it had a stepped capslock

Does 60/70/100% keyboard matter?

I use 60% kb (drop alt v2) cos it's pretty and I got a big ass glass mousepad. It does have arrow keys. I also use a tourbox elite gizmo, mainly on edit n cut page. I haven't finished the proper setup for the colour page.

Keyboard vs speed editor

My Drop Alt High Profile was $250 and it's only 65 keys. Nice keyboards are expensive. It's this a nice keyboard?

Silver & Grey Pavlov + PBTfans Twist R2

I think this one came with a Drop Alt I got forever ago! Still going strong though, I like how flexible it is.

looking for a keyboard ~$200

Check out the keychron K8 or the Ducky One 3. They’re both good picks in your price range and have what you need,75% layout, nice switches, and some have a knob. If you’re after hall effect switches, look at the Drop ALT or something from Akko... Also, keyboardyeti has a bunch of comparisons and gui

Is the Wooting 60+ still worth it?

For many; yes. For me; no. I suck at FPS and I don’t need a $350 keyboard specifically for FPS gaming. I gave a Drop Alt HP and an NIZ75 if I need to type, edit, program, or RTS/MMO. I play Souls games with controller. A numpad for excel and a little logi wireless for my Photo Booth. I have a Monsge

Help me find a dev/gaming keyboard

QK101 is a decent choice, but you might want to look into other options like the keychron Q series or the Drop ALT as well... They also offer good customization and support for different layouts.

Do y'all use a TKL or a full size keyboard?

I use a 65% (Drop ALT V2) and a Tourbox Elite. I got a profile on the tourbox that works for me on the cut n edit page, and for the most part the colour page, since I have a standard node tree saved and it's all drop downs, dragging and I can use the knob to dial exact values in text boxes. So I rar

5 years of ALT + Godspeed

Was going to reply with "are you sure that is Godspeed" but a quick Google search taught me that MT3 Godspeed (the ones I have on my Drop Alt) have very different special colors than SA. Looks awesome, like how you tied everything together in terms of looks. The Drop Alt was my first foray into "nic
