I owe robot vacuums an apology
New to them as well as of last October. We just built a new home and the combo of LVP floors and a Dreame L50 Ultra make 3 dogs manageable compared to our previous carpeted home. Nothing like laying in bed and kicking off the cleaning.

Great news and it's good to see Dreame pushing these updates, I'm still waiting for the new firmware on my L50 Ultra but I hear from other users it significantly improves navigation!

Roborockers that switched: how’s it going?
I've never had a Roborock, but I had an ecovacs and boy was that machine horrible. It couldn't go 5 minutes without getting lost or getting stuck on something. I upgraded to the Dreame L50 Ultra and i haven't looked back since 🤷♂️. Money well spent I reckon

3 cats + 2 kids? You need self-emptying and rubber brushes – otherwise you'll be emptying and untangling daily. Under $1000: Dreame L50 Ultra ($850) is your best bet. Self-empties, washes mop pads, rubber brushes. Eufy X10 Pro Omni ($500) for best value. Avoid anything without self-empty and skip

What's one lazy cleaning habit you started that actually made your place stay cleaner?
I bought a robo vac/mop. Hands down the thing that has improved my life the most. I can set it to mop and/or vacuum from my app, without even being at home. I bought the Dreame L50 at about $1500 NZD.
