should I get a dreame or roborock - ecovacs disapointed me hard

You're asking this in a dreame sub, obviously people will tell you to go with dreame. I had a roomba I8 combo, have ditched it and bought a dreame l40 ultra ae last week and was not disappointed. Downside is that it's reliable on cloud, but all robot vacuums have that, unless you go with valetudo.

Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra?

My L10 Pro is at 28,603sqm - and it's likely actually a bit higher than that due to firmware shenanigans. I'm finally retiring it in the next week or two to be replaced by a Dreame l40 ultra. It's had one battery replacement. I've been quite impressed by its longevity.

Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra?

I loved my L40 Ultra until it wouldn't recharge and started acting crazy. Sent it in on the warranty I bought with Amazon, and they refunded me the same day they got it! Ordered a new Dreame via the Reddit special, the X60 Max Ultra complete. Will see how that is vs the L40 Ultra. Enjoy yours - it's

Best robot vacuum for pet hair? UK based.

4 pets worth of shedding is crazy hahaha. Dreame L40 Ultra is prob your best bet. Consumer Reports picked it as their top specifically for pet hair. The TriCut brush system is designed to not tangle with pet hair. One brand to avoid: Ecovacs. Massive security and data breaches. If budget allows, the

New L40s Pro Ultra on old robot's map?

Dreame robots store maps in the cloud, not tied super tightly to the hardware. If the new L40s Pro Ultra is the same model and firmware family, restoring the old map is officially supported and often saves time. That said, a fresh remap is safer if any of these apply: The old unit had navigation qui

Saros 10R or Z70 or New QRevo Edge 2 Pro

I got a 10R to replace a failed Dreame L40s Pro Ultra that Dreame wouldn't/couldn't fix.I should have researched further as apparnetly they're both White Labelled Xiaomi vacuums. Anyway, it works fine. It's not quite as good as the L40s PU I had in these ways:- Lack of LIDAR, the TOF sensor is just

Detect water levels in robot vac clean water tank

On Dreame models like the Dreame L40 Ultra, water level isn’t actually measured continuously. It’s basically binary or inferred internally, and Valetudo doesn’t expose anything granular. You already found the limitation. The “error when empty” approach is the easiest, but as you noticed, some models

Should I buy the Dreams ultra AE?

The L40 AE is still a solid buy — most of the scary Reddit posts are just the usual handful of people troubleshooting edge-case layouts. It works well on normal floors and carpets. The L40S Pro Ultra is basically the same robot with slightly better obstacle handling and newer software features. Clea

Saw the Brand-new Narwal Flow 2 at CES

How does the AI truly handle a floor covered in kids’ toys or "pet accidents" without making a bigger mess A couple months ago I bought a Dream L40s Pro Ultra (or something like that, the model names are stupid). The first week I kept the house clean so it had a nice floor and didn't have to dodge.

L40 Ultra AE or L40s Pro Ultra

I’m pretty sure the L40s Ultra Pro doesn’t have the ability to inject detergent into the water tank from what I can see. I could be wrong but that’s what it’s looking like. That seems to be the consensus here as well and I think you agreed: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dreame_Tech/comments/1npnmgk/l40s_pr
