I was looking at various Roborock models too. The Dreame L40s Pro seems to have a lot better features compared to the Roborock models priced up to £500 that th L40s Pro Ultra is currently on offer for.

Went with the L40S Pro Ultra, returned it because even though it was good, its extra features weren’t worth the extra price. Picking up the Dreame L40 Ultra AE instead with a 5 year warranty plan so I’m guaranteed it lasts. Do feel like the Dreames are more delicate than Roborocks.

I do agree that Dreame is better in quality overall. Hopefully you can find a good deal for the dreame l40s pro ultra since its just new on the market. Both brands are epic at marketing and have often huge deals with short intervals.

Dreame är ett fantastiskt märke. Har en l40 ultra som är grym. Roborock är också bra, men lite väl dyr i jämförelse. Du får lika bra, till och med bättre, prestanda med en dreame.

The L40s Pro Ultra already has Matter support rolling out via firmware 4.3.9_3276. A few people have confirmed they’re running it now, so the hardware itself isn’t the blocker. If you don’t see it yet, it’s almost certainly just a staged rollout by region, which Dreame tends to do pretty slowly.

Thank you! I found Edge S5A which is apparently the same as curv 5A1 but different shape for 549€. However Dreame L40S Pro Ultra for 599€ is just as tempting. Im still unsure how Dreame compares to Roborock in terms of sturdiness and reliability. I was very happy with my S5Max.

V50 just started making an audible “clicking” noise (sounds like a card inside bicycle spokes) while driving. It did ONE clean and tried to leap into our dogs metal water dish that was luckily empty. It thought it was a threshold apparently. I looked it up and this tends to happen to some folks. Req
