Are Pool Vac Robots worth the hype?

Gotta figure out what you want. I was paying a pool guy $140/month but he missed up twice in 4 months so I had to let him go; so either I was going to do it myself or get a vac. I'm lazy, so obv choice for me was a vac. I now just brush the wall once a week, that takes like 5 mins - and the vac does

I have a Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus. Never had an issue and cord has never tangled for me. I’ve had it for about 4 years now. It’s dumb meaning it doesn’t map the pool but it cleans it really well. Never had a cleaner pool and mine is curved pull as well.

Cordless vacuum!!!

I have the N1. Before this I had the Dolphin Nautilus cc plus. The dolphin did a much better job and I had the extra fine filters but it was corded and a pain in the ass to clean. Plus, it was about double the price of this one. once the cord went out and a replacement cord was almost $200, I said f

I am looking for a new robotic pool cleaner and am leaning towards a corded Dolphin. Does anyone know whether they will pick up acorns? Any particular models better than others at picking them up?

I’ve had a Dolphin Active 60 the past 3.5 years and had two Nautilus CC Plus units before that. All did an excellent job of cleaning. The Active 60 is a great machine. The only downsides I experienced were a need to replace the cable at three years and the drive unit just went out on 1/2 of the trea

Hi, I am in the market for a pool vacuum and I am considering a battery operated wireless model for my 20 X 40 in ground swimming pool and would like to know your thoughts and recommendations. Thanks !

Pros for wired Consistent suction (since there's no battery degradation) "Endless" use (since you don't have to wait 4hrs to recharge) Can be left in the pool for multiple days Cons for wired Some wires may get tangled (often times the reason is because of user error) Wires may be an issue to use si

aiper reviews

I have a new Aiper Scuba S1 I’m comparing head to head with a dolphin nautilus cc plus (2023) in a 27’x15’ fiberglass pool. I like that the Aiper is cordless so it doesn’t get the Betta tangled, and there’s no blue cord tripping hazard snaking down the patio steps. The fine mesh filters seem to be b

Another dolphin Nautilus cc plus here for 5 years, been great! Cord has never tangled once.

Is it smart to buy a pool robot before swim season actually starts?

I have a dolphin nautilus cc plus and love it. I know there are other reputable brands as well but I've never used them. Just avoid the cheap Amazon specials (my first robot died in 5 weeks and the company dodged my warranty claims) and also the battery powered units. My inlaws have an expensive bat

Damn you all! Choo choo all aboard the Betta train!

I got an Aiper cordless from Costco. Thing was broken out of the box - wouldn’t roll, just did wheelies for a minute and then flashed red. Moved on to a dolphin nautilus cc plus and it’s been everything I could have wished for, other than my skimmer getting stuck on the cord.
