DJI Osmo 360 II preorders will start tommorow
But when he said the X6’s image quality (because of I-Log and 10-bit) puts it far beyond what the Osmo 360 offered, my ears pricked up. I had the X5 and the I Log was pure fucking garbage. I think you could only use it to 1080p. It was ungradable. So i switched to DJI Omso 360. But their software is

What features is the DJI Osmo 360 still missing?
I completely agree. HLG may be a niche feature, but it's another example of how the hardware is ahead of the software. If DJI wants the Osmo 360 to compete with the best, every part of the experience should be on the same level.

Dropped my Osmo 360 – Both lenses scratched. DJI quoted €259 for repair. Is this normal? Need advice!
I got the X5 less than a year ago. It’s my fourth 360 cam and my third from Insta360, so I pretty much knew what to expect in terms of image quality and software since I’ve been using their cameras since 2020. I had scratched my X3 for the second time and, instead of sending it in for repair again,

Dude sailing around the Pacific Ocean for 25 days
It’s a 360 action cam. Likely a insta x3 or newer. Maybe the DJI osmo 360. It’s attached to a long stick and the editing software makes the stick disappear so you get drone like footage, but you edit in post to look wherever you want to. I have one. It’s pretty nifty. Edit: you can see the shadow of

Caught 5 phone drivers within 17 minutes. 4 shown here were not reported. Evidence would not enough.
This is DJI osmo 360. The camera is good. Software is very new but good enough. The other popular 360 cam is insta 360 which the sensors are not quite as good but apparently the software is a bit better.

Dji Osmo 360 or Insta360 X4 Air?
Osmo 360 has larger sensors so low light/night quality will be better. Also the Osmo will do 8K 60 FPS where the Insta360’s are limited to 8K 30 FPS. However the Insta360 editing software is much more robust and refined than DJI’s editor. In my opinion, it comes down to low light quality (Osmo) vs a

Have I made a mistake ordering so soon?
Honestly, I wouldn’t sweat it. Software and firmware are things that will all get fixed. At the end of the day, you’ll have an amazing camera that’s a big step up from your X3. The workflow will be different, but you’ll adjust to it or adjust it to you :-) . (I’m an X5 user that’s happy with their X

Which camera would you recommend for traveling?
A 360 camera is amazing for travel for exactly the reason you describe: clip it to a stick, hit record, and keep your phone free for maps, messages, whatever. No framing, no screen checking, you're fully present. In post you pick the angles you want. That said, if you're considering Insta360, there'

Dropped my Osmo 360 – Both lenses scratched. DJI quoted €259 for repair. Is this normal? Need advice!
Yes, sorry for the delayed answer; there were problems in my family. The whole process with DJI was very straightforward and fast. Seven days later, I had my Osmo 360 back. The saddest aspect was UPS, which redirected my camera to a shop although I was at home. They didn't even visit my apartment, a

DJI Osmo 360 II preorders will start tommorow
As far as I know, in the first generation there were a few things that needed to be improved, but overall the camera is very high-quality. The main problem is in editing. Has DJI finally reached the level of Insta 360 in the field of editing? If not, then it doesn't matter what they improved on the
