Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years

I wear high end makeup 80% of the time. But I traded Diorshow mascara (which always dried out on me) for elf Lash Extender (I tried all the elf mascaras, single elimination style, and Lash Extender was best for me—YMMV). The elf is better! I’m on my third tube. I also traded Sisley powder for Maybel

Holiest of holy grail mascara?

DiorShow mascara is the only thing I use now, and the mascara wand is magic, I love the way it separates and coats each lash without giving tons of buildup.

What’s your HOLY GRAIL mascara?!

Dior Lash Primer + Diorshow mascara are an excellent combo, the primer does so much.

Where are we getting our makeup from? Especially mascara!

I use Diorshow mascara and Dior lip oil, I don’t react to either — whereas my lips get swollen with any other lip products now. I don’t tend to wear foundation but if I ever wear anything I have had luck with the Typology tinted serums. Also the Violette_FR products have been good for me, with the e

If you could only use 3 beauty brands for the rest of your life, what would they be?

I was surprised to see ELF on so many lists until I realized that when I read the question i just assumed that this is a fantasy situation where money is no object. Also, are we assuming that product lines and formulations dont change? Or are we basing this on how the brand and products have held up

should I spend $250 for a Dior makeover event at Nordstrom??

I don’t think i would be able to spend $250 on dior makeup unless it included fragrance! The diorshow mascara is good, so is the diorshow liquid liner. Their skincorrect concealer and forever skin foundation are nice but both perform similar to other brands, and really depend on your skin. The blush

What’s one product you bought that turned you into a total snob — like, you can never go back to the cheap stuff?

Christian Dior Diorshow mascara. La Mer is fabulous across the board . Shiseido is also fabulous across the board.

Need suggestions

Haven't tried or seen this in store, but it's made of plastic so don't expect glass or anything. I've tried several Dior products and be prepared for me to rip through them lol. Their highlighter quads are too glittery, their blushes are pH, their Diorshow mascara is very dry and their foundations a

Need suggestions

I’d agree that Dior have really lifted. I like the eyeshadow pens too (just be careful when you buy as mine was broken when I received it, but I put it back in with no issues). They last and don’t need primer. I’m enjoying the eyeshadow quints and singles and Diorshow mascara is good but not an abso
