What speakers are these?
Devialet Phantom, designer overpriced bass boosted, and actually very good sounding speaker system. Not sure about using them like this, did it sound good?

Looking to buy a really good speaker for my TV
For primary music then stereo speakers are going to be the most rewarding. For use with a TV latency is critical. Many excellent speakers convert all sources to digital, apply room correction DSP and have terrible lip synch and work arounds are not seamless. Also they don't upscale to adding a sub o

Regardless of price, what’s the best portable speaker?
For overall sound quality either the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Level or Beosound Balance. But if you really want bass then a Devialet Phantom

Which pair are better for music: The Devialet Phantom ii 98 db or SVS-Ultra Evolution Tower Black Oak?
Very different user cases. Devialet Phantoms ii 98db or the new Ultimate versions are full active speakers needing nothing else. From a TV they provide a fibre optic input and are great stereo solution and with the latest DOS 3 operating system the streaming services are built in again (where remove

Thinking about getting Devialet speakers — but not sure if it’s worth it?
They’re absolutely worth the investment. Yes, they’re expensive but in this case, you truly get what you pay for. A couple of months ago, I purchased two Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB speakers, and the performance has been phenomenal. The bass is incredibly deep and controlled, and the overall cl

What's the best Bluetooth speaker you've ever used?
Loaded canon, 21 guns. Bluetooth is great for keyboard and mouse, acceptable for in the car or on the daily commute but not for best audio sound. Bluetooth is included in some very high end speakers £15-20k and owners cast over Bluetooth to them and are very happy with the results. These speakers op

Can’t decide pair of balance, 2s or 8s.
Beosound products do not have clear user space fitting. There is a crossover between design, sound performance, purpose and cost. There are some features that may matter and over rule other considerations. All have Mozart as a platform. Balance have the deeper bass and are 360 degree speakers. Beoso

Favorite speakers at Axpona 2026
The Dynaudio Confidence 20A were the standout winner for me. It was the rare moment in the show that I was stuck to my seat. I'd tell myself "I gotta get moving and see more rooms" but the sound and experience kept me stuck there for a while. For uniqueness the winner goes to Devialet Phantom. Super

Stereo Speaker suggestions.
If the JBL 100s are already too big for your new space and you are a bass head / don‘t want to miss the depth you are used to with the monsters that are the 4345s, you need to a) pair with sub(s) that are more easily tucked away in your space or b) consider active smaller speakers like Devialet Phan

Stereo Receiver recommendations
TVs and Bluetooth headphones don't always work with a low latency. Most wireless systems have poor latency with 2 to 30 seconds delay. WiSA is wireless and typically 5ms with -15 to 35ms which isn't noticeable. Passive speakers and analogue active speakers have zero latency but have signal cables to
