i feel you - been there. a high price doesn't guarantee good build quality on windows laptops. look for words like 'cnc aluminum', 'magnesium alloy', or 'vapor chamber' in specs. dell's xps and latitude 9000 series feel way more solid than inspiron or precision. check out dell xps 13 plus or latitud

How much did you pay for it? A premium 16-inch laptop with a better build like Zenbook S16, Dell XPS or Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 can exceed 2000 euro. I bet you paid a lot less. Margins for manufacturers of Windows laptops are actually fairly slim, so the well-built ones are really expensive.
