Everyone saying the sky is falling here is wrong. Prusa isn’t failing, and Bambu definitely isn’t. You have companies like Qidi shipping units that are literally broken, having customers as beta testers. Creality has an insane amount of printers that are all basically the same thing before support i

Welcome to the club. I have to warn you, if you try to tell the Creality Cult how good these Bambu Printers are, they'll call you a bunch of names. Shill, brainwashed, tourist, etc. There are other printers out there that are nearly as good out there. Qidi and Prusa are really reliable and Snapmaker

Oh good. That way you can walk up to a Creality K2 Plus and it'll greet you with failed prints instead.

Totally agreed. I got rid of my X1C and P1S prematurely after the H2D was released. I was hoping for a much bigger build volume, so I picked up the K2 Plus. I said the same thing - it's straight up hot garbage. The touch input is laggy, the CFS seems nice but sadly for me it was just trash. I've had

My friend who is a Creality fanboy tells me more about repairs he’s doing to his K2 Plus rather than prints. lol. He groans every time I finish a massive print on my lowly A1, lol.

I’ve just had the K2 pro arrive. Been printing some small functional parts in PETG on it. However, as it’s only been a few days, I can’t really comment much on reliability. My uncle has had the K2 plus since it was released last year, and hasn’t had issues. A few people have issues with the CFS (if

Long time Creality user here. None of the printers of any brand are going to be 100%. I have just as much trouble with my Bambu as I do with my K1, K1 Max, and K2 Plus. A lot of it boils down to user issues or not understanding what you are doing. Also there are a lot of consumables and maintenance

As a long-time 3D print enthusiast and a current owner of a Bambu P2S and a Creality K2 Plus (amongst a few others), I believe a neophyte is more likely to get a hassle-free start with a Bambu. That's not to say that Bambu is totally free from quality control issues or other glitches, but my persona

My K1C has been a workhorse and I love it, but on the other hand I bought a brand new K2 Plus and it was delivered broken and had to be immediately returned. So I’m 50/50 on Creality. Qidi is a good alternative source if you are still looking for an open source printer if you aren’t comfortable goin

TL;DR K2 Plus was failing with CM2798 affecting all axes, which looked like a system-wide or communication issue. Extensive testing (axis isolation, voltage checks, MCU replacement) showed no improvement and the error did not follow any single axis. The real root cause was a faulty Y-axis driver com
