Ive just been through this decision myself. Ive been printing for about 8 years and have had 4 previoys printers. I went for the creality k2 plus. It is so easy to print, and to get good quality prints. I cant belive it after years of struggles. Im not a fan of locked in systems such as bamboo. Undo

For u/Creality_3D : Your link requires a WeChat login to use. In the US, very very few people have WeChat accounts. I know it's used for damn near everything in China, but it's quite rare in the US. Anyway here is my feedback: I'm a big fan of Creality. I love my K1 Max and I've got a K2 Plus that j

I don't think anyone can answer this one for you. You need to ask yourself why you want to start printing. There are pros and cons to consider. Putting a CR-10 against any of these is like Putting a 1995 Honda Civic against a 2025 Tesla. I learned printing on ender 3s and cr10s.. Compared to the new

Surprised you didn't get 150+ Bambu fanatics telling you to get the P1S. lol The r/3Dprinting group gets inundated with the "what should I buy?" questions. Most people just pass them up. Posting those questions in the weekly "Purchase Advice" mega-thread is encouraged, if not the rule. I have no exp

The K2’s are night and day compared to the Ender series. That said they’re starting to develop a 3rd party ecosystem now, but nothing like the Ender since there’s less of a need as they mostly contain what you want out of the box. Adding extra lighting, upgraded nozzle, upgraded hot-end, upgraded be

I asked this question last week, and my k2 plus combo arrives tomorrow. My summary of the answers I got is that outside of QC problems the machine is reliable and works well. If/when things break its fairly easy to replace them. I've had mixed reports on creality customer service. For some it's fant

Pick one of the chamber heater deflector mods on Printables. If the banding starts as the bed nears the heater and then gets worse as more of the bed is in front of the heater, I’d bet that’s your issue. Thermal changes from the heater cycling on/off with the air blowing right onto the build plate/m

You cant compare these two, they are in vastly different categories and the k1 is very manual in comparison. U see people here spending a week leveling the bed. Note that I am of the new millennium, If I can recommend a machine that cooks for you and feeds you I will do so, I dont see the point in y

You'll find issues with that connector and tube will be gone once you add a riser and a chain end mod bracket that has a support for the tube. The tube won't be strained in the connector.Add modded tubing guides to make the whole setup a lor freer and more reliable.3D Printer Files | 3MF File | K2 b

If you don’t need the CFS system maybe a K2 Plus would suit your needs better? Separate Z motors, auto tensioning, and biggest build volume. Upgrade to an ObXidian nozzle or MicroSwiss and maybe DXC2 extruder later. The K2 Plus is still the best value for money out of the range in my estimation even
