I have collectively 3000 hours on my 3 K2 Plus printers. I print everything from PLA to Nylon. The bed is the Achilles’ heel on these printers. I have one that has a 0.25 variance from the factory, the other 2 were bad, one was 1.2 and the other was I’ve 0.9. I tried a lot of things but finally I us

OP - Astronomer has sent you on the right path. I have a K1Max (which came with the hardened 300C nozzle) and I used the built in PA6-CF setting in Creality Print and it printed flawlessly and I had the top glass off. My bed temp was 50c and Nozzle temp 290C and I dried the Filament at 65C overnight

If this was a refurbished unit from Creality, give it a real good once over checking for loose screws and parts that may be damaged. Whoever they have working on the printers to "refurbish" them have no clue on what they are doing. I purchased 3 K1 MAX printers and all 3 had missing screws or broken

Sounds like a setup/tension issue more than anything. The Creality K1 Max is usually pretty smooth with retraction once everything’s dialed in. I’d check the filament path at the CFS and tube for any resistance or sharp bends. Creality’s system is generally reliable, so small alignment tweaks usuall

I've had a lot of Creality machines. The K1C, K1Max, and the basic K1 are decent machines that provide good printing. The quality control has improved a lot since their early days. Like all products, there are some units that may suffer issues out of the box or soon after. YMMV. Having a multi-color

I currently have two Creality machines (K1 Max, Ender-5 Max). They both work well now, but they did require some modification to overcome design flaws.

Just a question for you. The one thing I didn't catch was your first layer settings. Can you list speed (of wall and infill), flow rate, line width, number of walls, and infill pattern. All for bottom layer. And then after botton layer your wall/solid infill/sparse infill speed for the rest of the p
