2nd Hand Warning signs

I love mine, but don't buy that. 1st gen doesn't have automatic bed leveling, and the heaters run off 12v. It takes ~10 minutes to preheat the bed and nozzle, so you won't really test much in 5 minutes. Creality sells factory refurbished Ender 3 V3 SE on eBay for $86 delivered to the US. It comes wi

Someone convince me I need to buy a 3D printer 'for the kids'

My boys and I get a lot of joy out of ours. I bought a cheap entry level printer, Creality Ender 3 v3 SE. Has some good upgrades like auto bed levelling so you can get straight into it. It's well reviewed. Helped me to decide whether the kids and I would stick at it, and it's one of our favourite ac

Thats just my opinion though

"Ender is never a good option" My Ender 3 V3 SE that prints better than an A1M is laughing. What often is plug & play may never reach such levels compared to a cheaper but more moddable machine on someone's capable hands. You can tell I spent way to much time tuning my printer. Payed off to just pis

3D printed spider web fidget

The a1 mini is like $220. I bought an ender 3 v3 se and installed klipper onto it. Never had the issue of having to calibrate more than print. Because even if you do buy an expensive one, multicolor is an add on to those, not default for the most part

Question for Ender 3 V3 SE users with Klipper

https://github.com/amitesh-singh/klipper_ender3v3se_config https://github.com/amitesh-singh/klipper_ender3_v3_se Yes. The automatic z offset works very well in my case. If you enable adaptive bed.mesh, it's a game changer. Print quality and speed improve a lot. But do upgrade your hotend(either ceramic

Bambu Lab 3D printers: Never again - Jeff Geerling

FWIW my Ender-3 V3 SE has had 0% troubleshooting. Auto-leveled once and it's been fine ever since.

First time printing, first test print, things I should do to improve quality?

For a first print on an Ender 3 V3 SE, that’s honestly a really solid start. The newer Creality auto-leveling systems do a lot of heavy lifting, so once you fine-tune those corners and dial in Z-offset a bit more, your print quality should improve fast.
