Difference between these?

Yeah, your boyfriend is totally wrong. KNKA appears to be a junk rebadged brand. These are typically very cheap with poor build quality, short-lived replacement filter availability, and lousy customer service. The 2,325 sq. ft. coverage rating is highly misleading. This is likely at 1 Air Change per

Which purifier is the best option in Europe?

No, Dyson is one of the worst! The HP09 has terrible Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs). They just know how to market effectively. As Rule 4 and the AutoModerator comment repeats, it's helpful to know the ceiling height. I'll assume it's 2.4 meters. 60 m2 x 2.4 = 144 m3. For rooms measured in meters,

I don’t know who needs to hear this in San Francisco but a dehumidifier and an air purifier changed my life.

Sure! I have the Coway AP-1512 in my living room and the Coway Airmega 300 in my bedroom. Big fan of the Coway products. If you keep an eye on marketplace or Craigslist you can get a good deal on them secondhand since so many people bought filters during the fires and end up selling them

Anyone else lethargic?

I have had a mild headache and scratchy throat since the smoke started and a bit sleepy, happens every time we get smoke like this. I use a Coway Airmega 300 in my small apartment for the past few years and happy with it, although it's one of the more expensive ones out there.

Air filter recommendations

I have a couple Coway airmega ap-1512hh in bedrooms and a Airmega 300 for my living room (available on amazon). Pay attention to the cost of replacement filters. It will be a bigger cost than the machine over time. Clean and replace them regularly. I vacuum weekly, change the carbon filters monthly

ISO: 3 air purifier for tall ceilings

Just so you know, listing room dimensions in meters is perfectly fine. Most common brands (i.e., Coway, Winix, Philips, Levoit, etc.) have very little sorbent media for gases, vapors, or odors. They are designed more for particulates, like smoke particles. Sorbent media = activated carbon, activated

Deciding between Winix C909 and Coway Airmega 400 (Bay Area, CA, USA)

Hi, I created the newest iteration of the Buying Guide. I didn't include the Coway Airmega 300 because in the past, the Coway Airmega 400 would be discounted frequently enough to justify its purchase instead. Annoyingly, there were no good Black Friday or Christmas sales for the Airmega 400 or Airme

Never owned an air purifier and need help!

Luckily 500sq ft isn’t too big, so you can probably get something like the Levoit 300 for the main room and a smaller one for the bathroom. My advice is don’t get something too small for your main room, or it won’t work. And if you want serious air cleaning, then something large and rated for 2x or

Overwhelmed with options, need recommendations please

We had severe wildfires a couple of years ago and our Coway Airmega 300 did an amazing job. Super surprised. We had that thing for almost 7 years at that point and we've never had wildfires as bad as these ones. Unfortunately, the price has almost doubled from what it was when I purchased the units
