Frag free mascara?
Actually, I have accidentally bought mascara with fragrance, so be careful and check the ingredients! Personally, I have really liked the CoverGirl lash blast volume in the orange tube. I've also heard a lot of people like some of the Essence mascaras.

yap with me!
Under-hyped / hidden gem: Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume mascara in the orange tube. I dutifully try every expensive brand sample I get, and not a single one has ever come close to my trusty CG mascara. This stuff is inexpensive, doesn’t flake, doesn’t clump, and doesn’t smear. You get a lot of produc

L’Oréal telescopic and Maybelline sky high are both very wet and give me spider lashes. What to try next?
CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume waterproof and Maybelline Lash Sensational waterproof are my top recommendations for decent curl hold and a very soft, separated look.

Makeup product you thought was overhyped?
I will forever miss my ride or die, Maybelline Full N’ Soft in brownish black. My typical go to is/was waterproof CoverGirl LashBlast Volume in Black Brown (it reads more dark chocolate). More subtle/what I wear most often now (work): Clinique High Impact Volumizing in Black Honey. No matter what ma

Physical glow up tips
Do these three simple things and you'll want to do more once you're like… “wow, what a difference!” Get a good facial tanner. I use Tanologist when I want something quick, and Sunnee BAEskin when I can leave it on longer than six hours. Both give beautiful color, no streaking or break-outs. Get your

Waterproof mascara
I've found that the problem is that more volumizing mascaras tend to have huge fluffy wands that are more prone to making a mess. I get the cleanest application from a wand that has a wide barrel but very short silicone bristles, like the CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume. You can fluff up your lashes mor

Advice
Personally I think eye shadow as eyeliner looks less harsh and easier to control. You can get an angle brush and tap it along your top row of lashes and extend into a slight wing. I think a subtle wing is flattering and the over exaggerated ones can look a little too millennial (coming from a big wi

What mascara brush style do you always go back to?
CoverGirl LashBlast Volume has my favorite mascara wand: a stiff silicone spiky wand with a large barrel and dense but skinny spikes, and slightly tapered toward the tip. In contrast to a fluffier wand, this style gets great coverage of my individual lashes without getting them overly wet or clumpy

Makeup that won't budge!!
I don't wear a lot of makeup and my knowledge is limited, but I have the orange tube of CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume waterproof mascara in the color Black-Brown here at work that has survived me vomiting my guts out. It's not terribly expensive so it's worth a try.
