Kids Smart Watch

From what I've read there's only 2 officially supported smart watches for kids on Fi: the Fitbit and the Galaxy watch 7. The Fitbit is really only geared for young kids that don't have friends with devices. And I'm not paying $350 for a galaxy watch for my kid. Other carriers have $100-150 watches g

Has anyone got a kids smart watch recommendation, or an alternative solution to allow them to stay in contact in case they (or we) change plans, without giving them a full blown smart phone? A second hand Nokia 3110 would be fine by me :)

Thinking about getting my kids smart watches for Christmas, Wondering if you need an iPhone to set one up? Quick Google search suggests you can't use iPad, or Android device.

Seems a bit ridiculous you can't set up the watch that has cellular data without an iPhone to me, so wanted to mak
