Finding the best luggage 2026 based on reviews last year that survives baggage handlers destroying everything

Briggs & Riley. Even if a baggage handler destroys it, B&R will repair or replace it. Lifetime warranty that includes outside influence/damage. The warranty is on the bag, so even used ones from eBay or other places will have the same warranty.

Torn between Carl Friedrik, Rimowa and Tumi for my first serious carry-on,  what would you pick?

Is there a reason you’re not considering Briggs and Riley? It’s one of the top recommended ones, though it is a bit less flashy on branding. I’ve been happy with mine. To my knowledge they have one of the best warranties and have more service centers (at least for me) than Rimowa or others.

First time flying AS, and this is how i received my luggage

"gift years ago". There you have it. When my luggage gotten old, exactly this has happened to them. My uneducated guess is material degradation and constant banging them around, weakening the structure. Can happen to any brand. I started buying Briggs and Riley luggage though. Lifetime warranty and

trying to pick the best suitcase for holiday travel without overspending

It’s not the cheapest but Briggs & Riley truly is a workhorse. Seven years, hundreds of flights, zero issues. Smooth roller even now. No complaints and if it breaks in a decade I get a new one. You really get what you pay for, and I’ve gotten more than what I paid for it. My spouse has an Away. It’s

I need a new carry on, I will also be applying to the airlines soon! Any recommendations that can fit both my needs to travel but also as an FO?

Unpopular opinion but here goes anyway. This is a terrible option for actual traveling. It’s heavy with weird dimensions. There is a good reason why none of our business travelers (many of whom travel almost a much as us) use luggage works bags. If doing any sort of travel on international carriers

Suggestions for someone that is starting to fly for work.

I've been doing 150-175 flights a year for like 5 years now. For me, the club card is worth it, as I live in an out station, and I use the United club at least 50 times a year (I often use it just for the clean bathrooms on my way to the next gate). To be clear, I currently get club access for mysel

Lifetime Warranty Excludes Airline Damage?

Officially Rimowa doesn't cover airline damage, but you can get lucky at individual stores. If you want a tough bag with an airline damage warranty you'll need to buy Briggs & Riley baseline I travel a lot and have 5 B&R checkin bags with zero failures. Rimowa are carry on only

Does anyone here work for Trakke? The posh bag company.

There has been issues people actually claiming the lifetime guarantee and also exclusions you’ll end up needing to pay. I’d seriously consider Briggs and Riley, had my old one 8 years of heavy use and through my own fault catching the material ripped the interior lining and broke one zip. Customer s
