Nah, definitely not age – I’m 55+ and have tinnitus. AAC + Spotify is like a double strike. Apple Music with Apple Lossless enabled will help with playback quality and listening wired, lighting to 3.5mm TRS, with provide you the best sound quality at the expense of being tethered.
