Apple Airpods Max vs B&W PX8 S2 for an iPhone user
I have both. It is my experience that in use with 3 devices, they have very similar device switching performance. I know that’s not your question, but I’m just getting that out of the way. For your question: In the end, I really like both, but I think the Px8 S2 are more comfortable, and sound sligh

I forgot to said it but i have a eq from the b&w app if you want to try it (its for the px7 s3 but i think it will also sound great on the px8 s2): EQ image

The fact that someone came up with this design infuriates me
I have a pair. Got them from b&h for $160 brand new and they sound amazing. Probably top 3 best sounding headphones I’ve had (I’ve owned sony xm2,4,6, bose qc ultra, airpods max, b&w px8 s2). Does get a bit uncomfortable after an hour or two. The app still works and I put them on from time to time

PX8 or PX8 S2
I own XM6 and PX8 S2. The difference in sound is huge. XM6 sounds best from the box and every time you try to use EQ the overall sound is lowered. Never understood the reasoning for that. My only guess is that Sony squeezed everything they could for mainstream public who doesn’t want to dive into th

Stuck between the B&W Px8s2 and Dali IO-8
Dunno about the Dali but here is my unbiased opinion on the PX8 S2: I’ve had them for a month now and I’ve tested various tracks (Lossless, on USB C and Bluetooth via an iPhone). I’ve also had a pair of Bose QC Ultra Gen2 (which I have decided to return after buying the B&W). EQ and Sound This is a

which one? my top priority is sound quality, then comfort. Don’t really care about ANC.
The PX8 S2 is usually at least $200 more. They're both great. The B&W sound signature is much more V-shaped. It's got a lot more bass and way more treble in the stock tuning. Think of the PX8 S2 as a slice of supreme pizza. It is just everything kinda dialed up. Lots going on. Think of the HDB 630 a

Is the Px8 S2 worth the extra money over AirPods Max?
100 percent worth. I had AirPod max, tried b&w s and sold AirPod max. I have b&w px8 s2, best decision atleast for me. Airpod max and px8 s2 both seamlessly connect with iPhone, mac, ipad etc. AirPod max Spatial Audio but px8 s2 doesn’t at the moment if that is a very important to you. I personally

PX8 or PX8 S2
If you have the money, definitely go for the S2‘s. They are a step up in almost every aspect compared to the PX8. ANC won’t be as good as your Sony‘s obviously, but it’s a bit stronger and more reliable on the S2‘s. They also come with a 5 band EQ in the app compared to the highs and bass sliders of

Why so much variation in reviews for the Aventho 300?
Indeed ! I’ve tried them all (Bose, Sony, Apple, Nothing, Sennheiser,B&W Px8 S2 are the best wireless headphones I’ve ever owned. If you don’t care about high quality materials (nappa leather, aluminium etc..) the difference in sound quality between Px7 S3 / Px8 S2 is .. let’s say 10-15% at best ? I

PX7 S3 and PX8 S2 – When is the Spatial Audio update coming?
Not at all surprised, B&W have an faulty implementation of apx adaptive in low latency mode across all their older BT wireless range of hps, its been fixed in their PX8 s2 and PX7 s3 range but their engineers denied the fault even existed when I questioned them and gave them several references of pr
