I’ve owned many « high-end » bluetooth headphones over the last 2 or 3 years, including the Sennheiser Momentum 4, Bose QC Ultra Gen 1 and 2, B&W Px7 S2e, B&W Px7 S3, B&W Px8 S1 and S2, Beoplay H95, Focal Bathys, Sony XM5, and several others… Right now, the Cambridge Audio P100 SE offer by far the b

This is quite literally the most unsurprising and least shocking revelation ever. I have both the B&W PX7 S3 and the Sony XM5, and for flights I always take the Sonys. Under those conditions the sound quality difference is barely noticeable, but the Sonys’ ANC is far better than the weak ANC on the B&Ws, and they’re also much more comfortable for long listening sessions.

Better than the new B&W Px7 S3. Bought that because of newer tech: AptX Lossless + LE Audio-Auracast in future upgrades. But the ANC does not match the M4. Also M4 sound better to me, they offer a more pleasant and spacious soundstage. Px7 S3 reveal finer detail (probably for the better codec) but t

To be honest I found the PX8 more pleasant to listen to than the PX7 S3. If you got the budget I would wait or even consider the Px8. Anc and transparency are worse though, but that always sucked on b&w headphones tbh.

I tried the Px7 S2e and returned because of a really bad ANC. Recently i bought the B&W Px7 S3 but returned it because the M4 has a better ANC, again (S3 ANC is better than the S2e, but not enough). S3 shows more details but sounds too much "in the head", I find the M4 still better, with a more spac

I don't get the hype behind the Px7 S3 and the Px8 S2 on this reddit, and websites that seem to be paid off to push the Px7 S3 and Px8 S2 as the greatest sounding headphones. I finally tested both of them and I consider them a deviation from the signature sound Bowers and Wilkins should deliver: the

Lol. My B&W PX7 S3 got firmware update with "true immersion" mode which... Sounds like shit, because mids are... out of phase or phase shifted in weird degree and this sounds so unnatural, like very bad noise canceling. I had high hopes, and instead i get big disappointment. But well, good thing the

I have an PX7 S3 and APP and used to have XM2. I don't own but tested XM5 and XM6. I can confirm the APP, XM5 and XM6 have better ANC than PX7S3 - XM5 and XM6 are substantially better. i did not compare XM2 to B&W directly but judging from my memory I would say they are pretty similar in ANC perform

There have been improvements to ANC B&W PX8 S2 in comparison to PX7 S3 model and although this ANC feature still doesn’t match up to the Bose or Sony, it is so much improved and the sound quality is notably better than both the Bose and and Sony. As for overall build quality, PX8 is leaps and bounds
