Taking apart PX8.

The pads are clipped on with plastic tabs, they come off pretty easily, just use your fingernails and put them in between the pads backing and the plastic ring and it should come right off Then proceed to remove the black torx screws (use the proper head, they're easily stripped otherwise), once don

H100

Yeah, the new headband construction introduced with H95/HX/Portal is a huge fail unfortunately, compared to the older one used from H6 down to H9 3rd Gen which would last a century. Seems like B&W headphones (Px7 S2/S3 and Px8/S2) are affected by that same issue even more though. Thankfully H100 are

PX8 bracket - material problems

in my experience, b&w is hit or miss. i do not have px8. i did have the orginal px, and the whole earpiece broke. most of my bad experience with b&w was the usability and hardware quality. the sound is amazing, but they really need to spend time making a full product. i had 4 of their headphones, 2

PX8 S2 Launch poster

If I remember correctly from the Px7 S3's release, B&W have stated to some reviewers that the adhesive or application of it on the headband and earcups have seen a change from the Px7 S2. I think it's going to be the same case here, and hopefully that means no more falling apart.

Bose QC have terrible noise cancellation

Bose has always had the pretty much the best noise cancelation performance with around ear headphones, especially the QC Ultras 1st gen and 2nd gen. The 2nd gen makes ANC even better by bringing down the level of "noise cancelling hiss" to near zero. Something is wrong with your hearing, the way the

Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 – paint already peeling off + no response from support. Anyone else?

I reached out to B&W support about this, but so far I haven’t received any response (it’s been 2 weeks). Update: Bowers&Wilkins never responded A typical English company. A very small team of brilliant engineers comes up with something truly amazing, but then it is completely ruined by everything th

B&W PX7 S2E I have a noise in the left ear when starting the headphones for 10 seconds

It's not normal at all. I also recently got PX7 S2e and noticed a short static sound after turning them on (like something brushed against the microphone). I did a full reset of the headphones, and it looks like the noise is gone now. Px7 S2/S2e has a known issue with the left ear cup. It might even

Is the B&W PX8 S2 prone to QC issues or early defects?

Have been complaining since PX (first gen, not even had a number attached to it) to PX7 s2. Never one that worked more than 2 years. Now thanks to the info found here I finally understand why the quality is so bad. Made in China is not an issue if quality control is done right. B&W does not. I've sw

Risk worth the savings? Probs not… unlessss

UPDATE: unfortunately the Amazon preowned gods were not on my side this time, headphones got delivered in a basic Amazon box; only came in their case (which was dented n marked), no original box, no instructions, and the 2 connection cords. There were sweat stains on the headband, and the headphones

B&W Customer Service needs to do better

This is why I only buy B&W from stores with good warranty policies. I cba to deal with them directly. Both my PX7 S2 and PX8 had issues eventually, both times I got my money back instantly after about a year of use. The earcups especially should be an easy process, or just make them more widely avai
