Bose QuietComfort 35
I’m wanting the QC Ultras myself. As Bose’s tuning is more neutral in the warm direction than most with emphasis on mids, no artificial treble boosts which only adds distortion, and well tuned bass. As human voices live in the mid ranges. I also have hyperacusis. V shaped tunings hurt my ears especi

What do we think of the SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen.)?
Amazing, warm and full bodied sound. This thing is a killer. I have used: Jbl Flip 2,4 / JBL Charge 3,4 / HK Aura Studio 3 / Soundcore Boom 2 / Marshall Stanmore 2, Middleton 1 / Bose Soundlink Max............alongside my Kef HiFi. So believe me when I say that this little guy is the best bang for b

Boom 2 Plus - Slight Disappointment So Far
Fair enough, I'm not directly comparing or expecting the Boom 2 Plus to outperform a Bose Soundlink Max, they are in two completely different leagues and price points. I mention Bose in my post because I currently have an older Soundlink (1st generation - probably 15 years old at this point), still

Has anyone used Snapcast as a Sonos replacement? Curious if people's experiences with this are generally positive.
I ended up getting the Bose SoundLink Max. It was unable to power a Pi 4 with decent audio quality, but I switched it out for a Pi Zero with the DAC+ Zero and the Bose is able to power it. Works and sounds great!

Bluetooth rechargeable speaker option with no delay using aux wired input?
Bose Soundlink Max absolutely cranks, is compact and fits the bill for you. Also if you're worried about delay with anything els, beat matching and mixing can always just be done with headphones on.

SoundLink Max hissing when powered, audio source or not.
Hey chdgs, I have just purchased a SoundLink Max here in Australia, and the unit not only had a signficant hiss when powered on but not playing music, but also had a continuous feint "crackling", like a badly-tuned AM radio.I returned the unit to Amazon, who sent a replacement. The new one has no cr

Should I get Homepod (gen 2/mini) or not?
HK has gone through many hands over the decades. But the onyx is just riding on its name. Would definitely say go with the gen 2 home pod over the mini. I probably have 7 portable speakers and over 10k in a home theater so I realize the limitations of anything similar to the HomePod and onyx. If you

ZERO latency via aux in on a portable speaker

Possible premium future direction of the Soundlink line?
I own two of the SoundLink Flex as well as two of the SoundLink Max. I virtually never use them by themselves (single speaker at a time), as having two speakers (stereo party / paired mode) opens them up to real sound. I would simply like to see something roughly 4-6 times bigger than the max (simil

Best BOOMBOX-size Bluetooth speaker under $500? (loud > everything)
Bose soundlink max is shockingly loud. It’s not gigantic, not showy, but cranks out great sound.
