Alternate view on Samsung Q990D + need a new non-samsung suggestion

I have a Sonos Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and IKEA/Sonos standing lamps as well as a Q990C. Sonos will for sure be better with music. Did you play around with the settings with the Q990D? Could be something worth messing with to see it’ll be any better. I’ve only heard the Bose Ultra soundbar with the 700 sub

Narrowed it down to 3 for the apartment . With recent deals

Go for the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar. Its dialogue enhancement is really good and better than Sonos. And later down the line you can always add a sub and surrounds. I currently have that setup and only use it for movies, shows/tv. It has the clarity you are looking for. You can use it for music and

Recommended soundbar (w/o subwoofer or satellite) for TV shows (gameshows, sitcoms, etc) and dialogue?

I have the bose smart ultra soundbar for my computer, and it sounds great. The atmos and side effects are surprisingly convincing for how small the bar is (you can often find it on sale, too, for like $600 or so). It also has an AI enhanced dialogue mode. This bar sounds like it fits your bill.

Pair of HomePods or Bose Ultra

Get the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar. I bought a pair of Stereo HomePod 2 last month, decided to return it after 10 days. Did not regret returning it at all! For me, the HomePod 2 is a solid music player in a living room/ family area. Not to be used as a dedicated speaker for your TV. The lack of cente

Not great sound from stereo pair?

Yep, that was my experience with a pair of stereo HomePods. Disappointed with the tinny, hollow, and distanced feel coming from the pair. Too much bass for me. For music listening, no doubt it’s great, but for watching TV, I need a center channel for clarity of the dialogue. Decided to return it aft
