I Pulled the trigger! Who else is getting one?
Same. I have the smart ultra soundbar and 700 sub. I was holding out for decent surrounds. Then when the new rears were announced, I was cheering. However, to screw their loyal customer base, Bose decide not to make any of the lifestyle range backwards compatible. Seeee yaaa Bose. I’m going to upgra

Bose is back in your living room, and Sonos should be worried
Just read that these are not compatible to prior Bose surround speakers which sucks. Bose might be shooting itself on the foot with this one. I currently have an smart ultra soundbar and a 700 sub and was looking to add surround speakers. Now that they've released this, I'm not too sure anymore if I

Danke für nicht

Bose is back in the game !
It’s a shame. I currently have the smart ultra soundbar and if the new rears were compatible with it, I would have bought them straight up. But now, I’d rather spend my money on a complete new setup with Sonos or Sony for 2 reasons. The other brands are better. Out of spite for Bose forcing original

Soundtouch is less discontinued than you think
I honestly find what Bose did with SoundTouch extremely disappointing and hard to justify. I understand when cheap smart gadgets lose support after a few years. That’s unfortunately normal today. But Bose was always positioned differently. Bose was one of those brands people associated with longevit

How many of you with ultra smart soundbar will upgrade to lifestyle ultra?
the new Bose LS includes the Ultra speakers which I think is the game changer. All these while Bose surround speakers are passive and not active speakers. In addition, it will deliver the 7.1.4 ATMOS when setup fully. I would expect the new LS home theatre will be more immersive as compared to the c
