My Bose QC’s come with a cord I can just plug into the inflight entertainment if it’s a long flight. If it’s short and I don’t want to bring those I can listen to an audiobook or podcast on my phone with AirPods

With the Echo Mini, you're going to be limited to the SBC codec, which is really not great when it comes to sound quality. Keep the Bose - I was in same position and had them both to test out for a month. IMO, Bose is much more comfortable and the usb c connection for lossless is a solid plus. Also, something most people don’t know, the Bose sound will adapt to your ear if you turn them on while wearing them. Personally
