QC lineup is a try tested and true to Bose roots design. Even the current 2023 QuietComfort headphones are based on the design of the qc15, The very minimal changes at all since that model back in the early 2000s. Ive had both, returned the bose. Xm6 edges out the QCU in anc. Way better customizable app, multi connect is better, sound is subjective.

I returned my QC to Costco after having increasing connectivity issues and bought the QC Ultra Gen 1 refurbished direct from Bose for same amount of money. I actually miss the sound of the reg QC. I preferred it to the Ultra. I can't get the EQ on the Ultra to match what the reg ones had out of box.
