Keep in mind that people on Reddit can talk about headphones they own, but they haven't compared multiple leading models (unless they are really rich) Here's Wirecutter's roundup. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-noise-cancelling-headphones/ https://archive.is/hLIE4 (no paywall) Headp

bose quiet comfort earbuds, are they worth it?
i really need something block out or at least really dampen coughing and sneezing noises at work. apple airpods pro don’t do anything AT ALL to even dampen it. when i don’t have any earbuds or headphones in, it feels like coughing and sneezing noises are amplified. with them in, it’s barely muffled.

How do you block out thunder noises?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for advice and wanted to share a bit of background first. I’m extremely sensitive to loud, sudden sounds. I haven’t been formally diagnosed as being on the spectrum (though I’ve suspected it for a few years), but noise sensitivity has been a huge part of my life since I wa

Jaybird dead?
Yeah my ex "borrowed" my Jaybird Vistas and friggin lost them. I've loved these earbuds for YEARS because they fit so comfortably in your ear with those little silicone wings. Comfortable, yet secure even when jogging. All other earbud manufacturers seem obsessed with making buds that look sleek lik

Noise cancelling headphones/ear muff recommendations
I use Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds. The noise cancelling is very good, even without any sound going through. I can wear them for several hours at a time (whereas I can only wear over-ear headphones for an hour or so). They are very expensive though.

Is there an app that will sense when I am speaking and pause audio and turn down ANC on Bose quiet comfort earbuds?
TL;DR I have a real first world issue of being annoyed by noisy coworkers and want my expensive earplugs that play music to stop doing that automatically when I have to talk to my noisy coworkers.
I work in a noisy environment that drives me crazy. So I bought some Bose Quiet Comfort 30 bluetoot

November 21 Hotfix
That's crazy, I just bought a pair of Bose QCIIs for traveling and just plug them into the controller. Works fine for me and I don't have to spend on a separate gaming headset.
