Absolutely agreed. I wear a pair of bose QC35 for like 8 hours a day every day. They're fantastic. But a good set of wired phones sound better and that's all there is to it.

Buy BOSE. Everything is replaceable on their headphones. I bought my QC35 in 2019. They're still kicking

These look like Bose QC35. You can get replacement headbands and ear cushions on amazon, I revitalized my old ones before I upgraded to the newer model, pretty easy to do.

I got a pair of Bose QC 35s during my M1 year, and they came in clutch throughout med school. I cannot recommend getting a pair of noise canceling headphones enough.
