Note Max

Wait for the large format Supernote. I bought a Boox Note Max that has been abandoned only a year after launch. Ghosting issues are still a huge problem and it simply doesn't receive any updates.

An update to the Note Max would certainly be welcome! I hope they do release one soon. I do wish they would or could address the ghosting issue. It's the worst of my Boox devices. Not unusable but still it should be fixable.

I'm going to guess that within 3 months, there will be a 13.3 inch Note Max C that will be a better device than this glass screen, suboptimal non EMR surface pen Tab X C. That said, dammit about my willpower given I've been waiting 7 years for a Boox 13.3 inch color device.

Yes, it is also terrible on my Note Max. The Boox brand has lost its credibility; no more Boox products for me. Both my Boox devices go up for sale.

Note max doesn't have a backlight, has black&white screen and designed for note taking - not for what you are mentioning you want it. Did you consider TLC NXTPaper device? It is more usable for media consumption than Boox.
