Going through this as well. I went to Best Buy and got 2 Blueair 511i Max air purifiers. Took like 30 minutes and the smell is 98% gone. It's coming from our bathroom. It shares a vent and fan with them. I figured that our because the closet that shares a wall with them and is right next to the bath

Since you want to purify your whole 1300sq ft living space, do you have forced air heat and AC? If so, you can get a MERV 8 furnace filter that will work very well. If you don’t have forced air hvac, the box fan CR filter is the next best thing for the large living space. Otherwise for bedrooms, I r

My spec is 511i and Amazon lists it as available however when I order it they give me the wrong one, they give me the 511 one which doesn’t fit my purifier. I have gone in person to blueair trusted sellers and they have also given me the wrong one

I went with the BlueAir Pure 511i Max. I have others for the whole home, and chose this one for next to my printer because it is much quieter than is typical for a HEPA air purifier.

Medify MA-25 is stronger for smoke; Blueair 511i is only good for small rooms Any idea why the Blueair is more expensive than the Medify, though?

We use the Blueair 511i air purifiers set to auto 24/7. The filter will need to be changed about every 7 or 8 months. We have been very happy with them.

One more thing: you say you want Levoit, but if noise is the most importantly thing you should look into the Blueair 511i Max. They “ionize” dust particles so they stick to the filter, and that allows them to run the fan at lower speeds while keeping similar pm2.5 filtration capabilities.

Yes, an air purifier would definitely help in the bedroom, but it must have one that uses carbon filters, not just HEPA ones. Price wise, since the room is only 121 sq. ft., you can go with a smaller room air purifier, but the most inexpensive ones may not work that well in a smoky room. I would sug

I just bought a blueair 511i Max because it's supposed to be the quietest and I'm underwhelmed. I bought it for a small living room to keep the air fresh and it seems to create a dusty odor instead? There's also an audible machine whir even on the lowest setting. I'm considering sending it back and

I just put an air purifier next to my LR4. No smells at all. And that water bowl doesn’t belong there. Cats don’t like to eat and drink near where they poop. It’s a Blue Pure 511i Max. Small. Quiet. My LR4 is no where near a window.
