Well the actived carbon filter does help a tiny tiny bit with odor, but not much since you need pounds of actived carbon to actually see a difference, it’s much better to open a window/door and use a fan, aka ventilation for odor. So this shouldn’t be a deciding factor, I’d say ur good regarding thi
