Super noob questions but…
Why does logic default to C major 120 bpm? It defaults to this because it’s just a common scale and bpm. There’s no reason specifically. If you want to make your song in a different scale, go for it. If you want to make your song in a different bpm, go for it. should I change this when I drag sample

Headphones that sound like a HiFi?
Sounds arse backwards to me. Get some studio monitors. Or if you absolutely must use headphones, they should be as high quality, flat and truthful as possible. Getting some coloured ‘nice sounding’ listening headphones will just make your mixes sound even worse on other systems. My headphone researc

Streaming Headphones
under 250 theres a few routes you can go depending on whether you want open back for better gaming audio or closed back to avoid mic bleed. open back options like beyerdynamic dt 900 pro x and sennheiser hd560s are really good for fps footsteps and wide soundstage. both run fine without an amp but y

What is the best headphone I can get for mixing, I can't choose.
I have Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X and I really like them, it however is a disappointment when I take them off and switch back to my monitors

High-Quality, Comfortable Headphones for Digital Piano
Hi. I have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT900 Pro X which I’m really happy with. They are very comfy, and thanks to them being open-back, I can play for long sessions without getting tinnitus (which I had with closed-back, only with the piano. Still using my closed-back for movies, music, etc…). I really

DT 900 Pro X or MMX 330 Pro for gaming?
MMX 330s are tuned for gaming (FPS). Yes you can EQ the DT900 Pro"s to the same level but out of the box the MMX 330s are better, especially for footstep audio. Even compared to the DT 1990 Pro MKII I can pinpoint footstep directions easier with the MMX 330 Pro in BF6 and the Mic is fantastic.

Bayerdinamic headphones
I can’t tell you if they sound any better than the ones you mentioned, but I own a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X headphones and they sound great for gaming and music. They’re not wireless. Had them for several years and they sound even better after breaking them in. And yes, they sound great pla

Headphones to wear?
Long time I used Bose QC35 II with(!) cable attached, to mix and master. That was kind of fine. But affordable are these not, but I had them lying around anyway. Later I invested in (actually cheaper) Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X, which are open and quite comfortable to wear. My Laptops internal soundca

In Game Audio
The only time I've found footsteps are of much benefit is in CQB/TDM type gameplay where there are just infantry. Even then it's only directional in a flat plane. No vertical sense to it. Have tried 3 or 4 of the audio output presets (headphones, 3d headphones, 5.1, whatever) along with several of t
